Abyss Rising was released for the Japanese OCG on July 21st 2012, as the follow up to Return of the Duelist. The cover card is Number C32: Shark Drake Veiss and the English-Language release took place on 10th November 2012. Sneak Peeks were held on the weekend of 3rd/4th November with Ignoble Knight of Black Laundsallyn as the promo card.
Abyss Rising was released for the English-Language Trading Card Game on 10th November 2012.
