Warhammer Fantasy Battles - Island of Blood

Updated on April 10, 2012

A Perfect Christmas Gift for Any Warhammer Fantasy Battles Fan

There's a new starter set in town for Warhammer Fantasy Battles, and it's called Island of Blood. As ever, the starter set offers incredible value for money and has proven hugely popular with both newcomers and veterans alike. Island of Blood contains a stunning range of miniatures. You get an army of noble High Elves and a horde of Skaven. My favourite model is the High Elf Prince on a Griffon - it's stunning and I can't wait to paint it.

The over 70 miniatures supplied doesn't end the value though - also included in Island of Blood is a miniature copy of the rulebook (don't worry, 'miniature' doesn't mean it's missing anything important), beginners guide, dice & templates. In short, Island of Blood contains everything a newcomer to Warhammer Fantasy Battles needs to get started, other than paints to paint the models. It also offers the veteran player a stunning addition to their collection, whilst giving them a handy, easy to carry version of the new rulebook at the same time.
