Pokemon Trading Card Game - HG/SS Unleashed
Pokemon roars back with another release for the Trading Card Game - Heart Gold/Soul Silver Unleashed. Released May 2010, Pokemon HG/SS Unleashed is the 45th release in the ever popular TCG, following on from the first HG/SS release.. There are 95 cards to collect in this series, including Legendary Pokémon - Entei, Raikou, and Suicune, appearing in pairs on Pokémon Legend cards, as well as six new Pokemon Prime cards (including Tyranitar and Steelix).
On their own Raikou, Entei and Suicune would be a force to be reckoned with, but now they appear in pairs to form new Legend Cards. There's also great new Pokemon Prime - Jirachi and Shaymin to name two. Something special has been Unleashed.
As usual, the Pokemon HG/SS Unleashed release includes booster packs of 10 cards each, plus 2 great theme decks - Chaos Control and Steel Sentinel - more on them below. Inside the Pokemon HG/SS Theme Decks
As usual, you have two options for your theme deck in Pokemon HG/SS Unleashed (or of course, you can be a cool cat and get both ;) ) Here's what you're getting this time around...
Chaos Control
In the Chaos Control deck, you'll need to balance devestating attacks like Tyranitar's Tail Crush and Lucario's Bulk Up against more strategic approcahes like Mismagius's Psychic Pulse. Included Pokemon are: Tyranitar, Pupitar * 2, Larvitar * 4, Mismagius, Misdreavous * 4, Lucario, Riolu * 4, Metang * 2, Beldum * 4 and Zubat * 2, plus all the energy and support you need in a great 60 card deck.
Steel Sentinel
The best offense is a strong defense in Steel Sentinel - Steelix's Guard Press reduces opponent damage, while Cherrim's Sunny Heal Poke Power heals your active Pokemon every turn. Included Pokemon are: Steelix, Onix * 4, Primeape, Mankey * 4, Roserade, Roselia * 4, Cherrim * 2, Cherubi * 4, Tauros * 2 and Turtwig * 2, plus energy and support to get your game going. Another superb 60 card theme deck!
